This pilot-stage policy describes how LiftLocal handles information from people who search for private gyms, join the waitlist, apply to host, upload application files, or contact the marketplace.
Legal review is required before paid launch. Exact home addresses are not intended for public listing display.
This Privacy Policy explains how LiftLocal handles information during its pilot-stage marketplace for private fitness spaces.
We may collect contact details, city or region, training interests, host application details, booking-request information, communications, and technical information.
The short host-interest form collects name, email, phone, city, region or neighbourhood, space type, consent, IP hash, and basic device context for review and fraud prevention.
The secure host application may collect space details, equipment, access rules, amenities, parking, safety notes, insurance readiness, pricing preferences, acknowledgments, and review notes.
Hosts may submit recurring one-hour weekly availability blocks and a time zone so LiftLocal can evaluate potential listing schedules. A schedule does not guarantee publication or bookings.
Waitlist submissions may include name, email, city, preferred location or region, role, training need, budget, and equipment interests.
Host photos may reveal private-space details, equipment, entrances, parking, or household context. Only approved information is intended to become public later.
We may process browser, device, request, rate-limit, cookie, and security information to operate and protect the service.
Information is used to review applications, manage invitations, evaluate launch demand, respond to messages, improve the product, investigate misuse, and prepare safe marketplace operations.
Operational emails include application links, confirmations, support replies, and review updates. Marketing emails are separate and should require optional consent where applicable.
LiftLocal may use trusted service providers to operate the website, securely store information, deliver transactional messages, process form submissions, and maintain technical infrastructure.
These providers may process limited information only as needed to provide their services to LiftLocal and are expected to protect that information appropriately. LiftLocal does not sell personal information to service providers.
LiftLocal may use cookies or similar technologies for security, session handling, and product operation.
Secure host-application invitation cookies help protect the full application page. They are not intended for tracking advertising behavior.
LiftLocal may use or disclose information when needed to review safety, privacy, fraud, insurance, municipal-rule, incident, or legal concerns.
LiftLocal keeps information only as long as reasonably needed for pilot operations, review, legal, safety, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping purposes.
LiftLocal uses administrative, technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Service providers may store or process information in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions depending on their infrastructure.
You may choose not to submit optional information, but some information may be required to review host applications or respond to messages.
You can ask to access or correct personal information, subject to verification and records that may need to be retained.
Optional marketing consent should be separate from required operational communications.
Marketing emails should include an unsubscribe method where required. Operational emails may still be sent when needed to provide or review the service.
LiftLocal is intended for adults. Hosts and marketplace participants must be at least 18 years old.
This policy may change as the pilot develops, features change, vendors change, or legal requirements are reviewed.
