These pilot-stage Terms describe expectations for guests, hosts, applicants, and marketplace participants.
Project note: legal review is required before paid bookings, waivers, refunds, and platform-fee operations launch.
By using LiftLocal, submitting a form, or applying to host, you agree to these pilot-stage Terms.
LiftLocal is being developed and tested. Features, availability, review steps, booking flows, and launch areas may change.
Users, hosts, and applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to provide accurate information.
LiftLocal helps people discover and request private fitness spaces. Hosts remain responsible for their property, equipment, access, permissions, insurance, and rules.
The short host form expresses interest only and does not create a listing, guarantee approval, or authorize bookings.
Full host applications are accessed through secure invitation links. Invitation links may expire, be revoked, or be limited to one use.
LiftLocal may approve, conditionally approve, reject, pause, or request more information from any applicant.
Photos, equipment, access, safety, parking, cameras, insurance readiness, municipal rules, and availability may be reviewed before publication.
Approval and publication are separate. A host may be approved for further review without being publicly listed.
Hosts must provide accurate details, maintain equipment and space condition, disclose cameras, honour rules, and keep availability current.
Users must follow host rules, respect property, avoid restricted areas, use equipment responsibly, and report concerns.
False, incomplete, misleading, or outdated information may result in rejection, suspension, or removal.
Hosts are responsible for describing equipment condition and removing unsafe, broken, or restricted items from guest use.
Weekly availability blocks help evaluate potential listing schedules. Selected availability does not guarantee bookings.
Hosts must keep availability accurate and notify LiftLocal if schedules, access, or rules change.
Hosts must provide clear arrival, departure, parking, guest, equipment, noise, filming, cleaning, and restricted-area rules.
Hosts must disclose cameras and security devices. Cameras in washrooms, changing areas, or private areas are not acceptable.
Fitness activity involves risk. LiftLocal does not guarantee that any space, equipment, host, user, or activity is safe.
LiftLocal does not guarantee insurance coverage. Hosts and users are responsible for checking applicable insurance requirements.
Waivers or risk acknowledgments may be required before paid bookings or publication. Legal review is required before paid launch.
A request is not a confirmed booking until required approval, payment, waiver, and access steps are complete.
Prices may vary by space type, equipment, location, schedule, capacity, and host rules.
LiftLocal currently displays a 20% platform fee and estimated 80% host payout for pilot planning. Payout estimates are not guaranteed income.
Cancellation rules may be added or changed before paid launch and may vary by listing.
Refund handling requires legal, payment, and operational review before paid launch.
No unlawful activity, harassment, property damage, unauthorized guests, unapproved classes, product sales from homes, unsafe use, or bypassing LiftLocal review processes.
Submitted content must be accurate and should not expose unnecessary private residential details, licence plates, or personal information.
LiftLocal handles information according to the Privacy Policy.
LiftLocal may suspend access, forms, invitations, listings, or requests for safety, privacy, legal, fraud, or operational concerns.
LiftLocal may remove listings or applications that do not fit pilot requirements or raise unresolved concerns.
Users and hosts should promptly report injuries, unsafe conditions, access problems, privacy concerns, or serious rule violations.
LiftLocal is provided during a pilot stage and may contain incomplete features. No guarantee is made about availability, approval, bookings, safety, insurance, or earnings.
Any limitation of liability, indemnity, waiver, or dispute wording must be reviewed by legal counsel before paid bookings launch.
LiftLocal may change features, fees, policies, launch regions, review steps, or these Terms.
Governing-law wording is a placeholder and must be finalized through legal review.
